Laura McCulley

Current role

Laura McCulley currently supports SHOW as the Communications Specialist. In this role, she supports SHOW program’s communication, social media and outreach efforts. This includes  marketing SHOW’s services to academic researchers to increase the use of the SHOW data and the SHOW infrastructure for grants and research studies, maintaining good relations and participation among the SHOW cohort through continued communication updates, newsletters, and recruitment opportunities, and continuing to expand SHOW’s reach via ancillary studies with external researchers, organization and communities.

Past experience

Laura previously worked with the UW-Madison Division of Extension’s FoodWIse program, the SNAP-Education Organization for Wisconsin. Laura developed a statewide Harvest of the Month program to encourage Farm to School uptake in Wisconsin Schools, as well as led Nutrition Education efforts through both direct education and policy, systems, and environmental changes.
